Fidelity’s Sustainable World Summit
On December 2nd 2021 Fidelity International broadcast over five hours of live online programming for its inaugural virtual Sustainable World Summit (see below for logon details). The event was hosted from Fidelity's studios in Hong Kong and London with live interviews, panels, and pre-recorded packages from across the world. Highlights included interviews with the UN's Special Envoy for Climate and Finance, Mark Carney, and with former President of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso. The conference was distributed via the MEETYOO platform with simultaneous translations in six languages allowing guests remote attendance at a time of international travel restrictions. Production was overseen by a crew of about 20 technical operators and producers in London and Hong Kong.
Attendees entered the summit via a simulation of Fidelity's Frankfurt headquarter gardens. From there they could access the main auditorium, break entertainment, and networking areas to meet with Fidelity contacts and download associated materials.
